Veronica Walsh, the main protagonist of All Things Murder, is a two-time Daytime Emmy Award-winning soap opera actress. Now she also has a star for her amateur sleuthing. In a starred review in its May 1st issue, the Library Journal selected All Things Murder as a Debut of the Month and gave this verdict:
“Quigley’s debut is a traditional village cozy infused with deftly applied soap opera flavoring. Her comfortable, first-person narrative introduces a talented fifty-something heroine.”
I’m literally pinching myself. And I’m tickled that, in a delightful coincidence, the nominations for this year’s Daytime Emmy Awards were announced on Thursday, too.
Don’t ever give up on your dream, crazy as you might think it is. You never know.
Have a wonderful Sunday!
